Pattaya Countdown 2009 a Success!

Over 100,000 revellers gathered in Pattaya for the final countdown to 2009.

Following a series of cultural shows and music from some of Thailand’s top bands the traditional midnight fireworks display was amazing.  Over 20,000 fireworks were fired from 15 different locations around Bali Hai Pier and along the coastline.

There were no serious incidents or injuries during the celebrations. Hats off  to the local authorities for a wonderful event!
