PATTAYA BIKE WEEK 2009 – THE BEST EVER
Pattaya’s Bike Week, now in its 13th year, at Chaiyapreuk Stadium is becoming the most popular biking event in Asia. This year it attracted over 35,000 people and was the biggest ever!
Organized by the Burapha Motorcycle Club (BMC), the main theme of the event was “Ride for Peace”, with bikers from over 26 different countries attending.
There was plenty of great food available from the wide assortment of food vendors.
The music line up was amazing and the stage was popping with Thai superstars Carabao and Lam Morrison, American Harmonious Wilbury, cabaret acts like the magic shows from the Laughing Wizards, Also, Dr Penguin, the almost famous magician and his sidekick Capt.Treetops, the hypnotist Bruce Quinby, a triple chain saw juggler by the name of Marty Legray, a Chinese bellydancer, Kenny the Rock-n-Roll Clown, the Wild West show, an American car display, a fire show and the ongoing classic motorcycle display.
Harley Davidson of Bangkok had a huge booth with beautiful models on hand. Visitors had their picture taken with the beautiful Bangkok supermodels and famous film and TV stars that were on hand. Everyone enjoyed the 12th Annual Pattaya Burapa Bike week.
This annual event is a great free and most worthwhile party. It’s not only for bikers. Everyone, especially tourists and families are welcome. Hope to see you there next year!
